As I mentioned earlier, Pandora arrived the week between Christmas and New Year. It was not an unexpected visit or unwelcome visit (well maybe a little) although I must admit at times she does overwhelm me. I hadn't expected her to stay so long but now that she is here we are coming to terms with each other. I've learned that I can't fight her because if I do she will just open another box. So if you can't beat them join them, that's what I say. I've discovered too that her way may not be so bad after all. She really does want to help me. I've found that if I'm patient with her she in turn is patient with me. Along the way I found this great website that is helping me get better organized as well.
She really isn't so bad.........I believe I will ask that my next granddaughter be named after her!

Words Words Words
It is no secret there are some words I love more than others. My current word is "believe." I'm not sure what prompted my focus on believe but lately it just seems like there needs to be more "believe" going on.
Recently, I came across the blog Good News. The idea of instead of a New Year's resolution maybe we could have a "word resolution." A word resolution is right up my alley.
Kimberly has joined the word resolution.
I believe this is one resolution that won't be hard to keep!

What can I do with a week
Eleven and a half years ago I started working at Mike Brown Electric Co. I love my job and all the people there! They are my second family in many ways. In those 11 1/2 years the only time I've not been there is when we have been on the road seeing the family. This week at MBE we are closed. My first thought when I found out we were closing this week was to plan a trip. But then I thought of all the "projects" that never happen on the weekends.........so I'm home for a week! I've got a list longer than Santa's. I'm excited to see just how much I can get done; I'm easily distracted mainly by the computer but I'm going to be strong, okay it is Monday and I'm hoping to be strong! Wish me luck..............I'll let you know how it goes!
