Times Three

Are you sensing a pattern here.  I promise hope this will be my last time post for a while.  The time I speak of is when you are waiting for someone to get out of surgery.  That is when time slows to a snails pace.  Surgery that is suppose to last an hour and a half and goes almost four hours.  That is when time stops completely and your mind goes into full-force worry and wonder what if mode.  And there is no amount of anything that will get time moving again.  I’m not a fan of this time. I’m happy to say my worry was for not.  That’s fantastic news.

The Mind

Why is it that some things we seem to forget in an instance. And other things we can't for the life of us erase it from our minds.  I know our minds are like sponges............but seriously sometimes I just want to clear the mechanism.  Then there's that time thing; coming back to me like a bad penny.  I think I'll just hit ctrl-alt-delete.  Oh never mind, time is the only thing that works...........again!

Counting Again......

Today is my 150th post since starting my blog September 24, 2008.  There I go counting again.  I tried to match something to the 150 but no can do, at least not tonight.  I was hoping (not really hoping just thinking it would be an easy match) we were 150 days into the year but alas we are only 140 days, which quite frankly doesn't seem possible.  Seems like we just had Christmas; after all I just finally got my Christmas sweaters put away for heaven sake!  Where do the days go.............

Time

Time is such a crazy thing to me. For those that know me, they know that I gauge how close we are getting to a certain event by the expiration date on milk; you know its close when the milk expires after the event. Sort of like a pop-up reminder on Outlook. So today I placed an ad for a crane we are selling (Val and I don’t have a crane, the company I work for has one). The ad will run for 12 weeks which means it expires January 9, 2009. Which means that by the time this ad expires we will have been to New Mexico for Thanksgiving, Christmas will be a distant memory and William will have turned 5!! Time is a crazy thing!!
