Do-Over

Sometimes in life we just need a do-over.  Sometimes  in our process of “doing” we somehow get off track just a scosh.  So we must step back and rethink our performance and do it again.  I like do-over’s because it gives me a chance to try again to get right whatever I was “doing.”  Sometimes when Mr. Man and I have a difference of opinion (it does happen from time to time) one of us might stop and say, “how about a do-over?”  It is a great way to break the tension and do-over the conversation.  It works for us and I love it.  But it is not just conversations that sometimes need do-over’s other things do as well.  Like ones yard for instance.

Dogs 101

My favorite thing to watch is Dottie watching Dogs 101.  It's her favorite show.  Sometimes I'm afraid she is going to jump up on the television cabinet.  She gets so excited when the dogs on the television start to bark.  It is the funniest thing to see.  It's my favorite thing to watch .....  her watching television!

Last night on Dogs 101 on Animal Planet one of the dogs showcased was the Korthals Griffon; aka Wirehaired-Pointing Griffons. How fun to see Dottie's "kind" on television. The secrets out on this fun loving dog.

The Dot

Life with a puppy has its ups and downs. And life with Dottie is no different. She is almost 7 months which in and of itself doesn’t seem possible. Yesterday was not a shining day by any stretch of the imagination – two accidents in the house. She has been so easy to housetrain that we don’t even think about reminding her to go outside anymore but yesterday was a definite lapse. Thankfully today has been a better day. But who couldn’t love a face like that; good day or bad!
