Tender Spot
Yesterday, April 27th was the anniversary of Lola's death. Not necessarily my favorite time to remember but when it happened a friend shared this: When C.S. Lewis lost his wife, Joy, he wrote "the pain now is part of the happiness then..." She was a happy, happy dog. She made me happy. I think of her a lot and that is my favorite part. My memory of her.

I can't believe it's been a year. Love Lola!
The greater the happy the harder the hurt..... that's just the bummer part of the deal, isn't it? Hope some of that hurt has healed for you a bit. By the way, I love the name Lola and I love the legacy she left behind. I never knew her but I've gotten to know you better because of her...I'll forever be thankful for that!
