My mother taught herself to sew when I was a baby; which was about a million years ago. She learned out of necessity but learned to love it and even for a time earned money from it. She sewed everything. So, in the natural progression of things I too sew. Not as much as days gone by. So when Gran Number Two asked me to make her a dress for her baptism. Well, you can't say no to that. So I didn't.
This is the journey of the dress

That turned out darling! I love it. Love the flower...cute addition. Your talented!
Yeah!! I can't wait to see her in it.
What a sweet, sweet dress. Perfect for a special baptism day. I love it. I so wish I had my grandmother's sewing genes but I avoid any project that has to go on a "journey." A couple hours max for me, and then I lose my patience. Guess I should work on that patience problem first before I go on wishing I had your kind of skills!
Beautiful! What a good grandma you are.
