Yesterday we had the opportunity to watch the progress of a rare
annular eclipse of the sun. Our neighbor
shared the filter from his high powered telescope for the viewing. It was amazing to watch the progress of the
moon position itself perfectly over the sun to produce a beautiful ring of
fire.
Years ago Mr. Man and I took a blanket and spread it out on
the driveway to watch another celestial event; a meteor shower. There we were on the driveway, front row
seats watching a celestial show! I love nature and all her magic!
