Each Life

On this Sabbath day I reflect on the love my Heavenly Father has for me and those around me.  Recently I was part of an experience that continues to show me just how mindful He is of each of us.   A couple of Friday nights ago we went out to dinner with some friends at of all places our local gas station that just also happens to have a pretty good diner attached to it.  This opportunity to get together for dinner was actually a last minute plan.  We called our friends on the way home from work to see if they wanted to join us.  Although she had started dinner she said sure why not.  So she put her dinner on hold for another night and we met  up with them an hour later.  In the meantime their daughter and her husband came by their house so they invited them to join us as well at the gas station for dinner.  Now this is the part that is interesting.

What were the chances that we the Allreds would decide to go to the gas station for dinner and what were the chances that we would call our friends to join us and what were the chances that their daughter and her husband would be able to join us as well and what were the chances that the subject of me being a notary would come up in the conversation.  Well this subject of me being a notary was a critical part of the evening.  You see a notary was needed as part of a missionary getting his paperwork in order.  This missionary is the brother of our friends son-in-law.........if you follow, who was part of our wonderful dinner at the gas station diner.  It was a tender mercy for the mother of the missionary as she was stressing over how to get all of her son's paperwork back to Salt Lake; her son is in Idaho at school.

Spencer W. Kimball said: "God does notice us, and he watches over us. But it is usually through another person that he meets our needs. Therefore it is vital that we serve each other in the kingdom".

This experience showed me again the love our Heavenly Father has for each of us; in all things, in all places and at all times.

I always say, everything happens for a reason. May not know it at the time or ever know for that matter, but it does. Have a wonderful day!

You are a notary. Never knew. I actually needed one last week and went to Lisa at hidden valley reality. If I had only known. Do you have it for work purposes? Good times, good memories!
