28 Days of Love

Who doesn't love the month of February? It is all things red. All things chocolate. Its our weather month. I mean what other month lets us know how many more days of winter is left. If Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow, there will be six more weeks of winter weather. If he does not see his shadow, there will be an early spring. Love that Groundhog.

February is a unique month not only is it the shortness month but every four years it gives itself an extra day. We call that year a leap year. So in common years there are 28 days but in leap years we get 29. February starts on the same day of the week as March and November in common years, and on the same day of the week as August in leap years. February ends on the same day of the week as October every year and January in common years only. February is just so interesting.

Oh and there are some great birthdays in February, I'm just saying.
